Greyson Chance - Waiting Outside The Lines
I know this guy since he was discovered, last year, but anyway, today I wanted to share with you this prodigious kid.
Greyson Michael Chance (born in August 1997) is a American singer and songwriter and was discovered when Ellen DeGeneres saw his interpretation of Gaga's music Paparazzi (his brother wrote to her show suggesting she watch it). It has over 39 million views. His first oficial single was released in October 2010 and it's called Waiting outside the lines.
The song was written by Aaron Michael Cox and produced by Da Internz and Ron Fair.[1] It was released exclusively to iTunes on October 26, 2010.
The CD single was later released on December 14, 2010 under eleveneleven, Maverick Records and Geffen Records. It also contained a studio version of cover hits from Lady Gaga (Paparazzi) and Augustana (Fire).
In May 2010, Ellen founded eleveneleven, a record label. The label will concentrate on less known artists. So far there are 4 people with a contract with this label.
You'll never enjoy your life,
Living inside the box
You're so afraid of taking chances,
How you gonna reach the top?
Rules and regulations,
Force you to play it safe
Get rid of all the hesitation,
It's time for you to seize the day
Instead of just sitting around
And looking down on tomorrow
You gotta let your feet off the ground,
The time is now…
I'm waiting…waiting…just waiting…
I'm waiting…waiting outside the lines
A.
