1 per week - P!nk live @ Today Show
I'm so sorry, for my absense these days.
This month will be a bit hard to share with you music because I'm going to be on holidays away from home a few days. But, I will try to share whenever I can.
My choice for this week '1 per week' is a cover from the music Me and Bobby Mcgee - a huge success - from Janis Japlin by P!nk - the third time's a charm eheheh.
"Me and Bobby McGee is a song written by Kris Kristofferson and Fred Foster, originally performed by Roger Miller, and later by others including Kristofferson himself, and also Janis Joplin."
I think you can't compare Janis and P!nk, because they have different styles. Although, I think this cover is pretty good and P!nk did an excellent job - acknowledged by many.
I chose this live version because I think you can hear the versatility of P!nk's voice. To some she is just another pop singer. For me - and musically speaking - I think she is much more than that. And this is a proof that she can sing a lot of different songs.
I'm sure I will be able to share with you other great live songs sung by her.
Freedom's just another word for nothin' left to lose
Nothin', I mean nothin' hon' if it ain't free
Yeah, feelin' good was easy Lord, when he sang the blues
Yeah, feelin' good was good enough for me
Good enough for me and my Bobby Mcgee
A.
