Wye Oak, Civilian

Wye Oak are a indie folk rock band from Baltimore, Maryland in USA.
The band was created in the mid-2006 under the name Monarch, before the members Andy Stack - drums, keyboard, backing vocals - and Jenn Wasner - vocals and guitars changed the name to the actual Wye Oak as a reference to state tree of their home town, Maryland.
Their sound is described as "earnest folk-influenced indie rock with touches of noise and dream pop".

With 3 albums and 1 EP released, Wye Oak released their first independent album in 2007 If Children, on the next year now under the label Merge Records If Children was re-released and a new album The Knot was released in 2009.
In 2010 Wye Oak released their EP My Neighbour/My Creator and their last album Civilian was released in 2011.

The title track is the chosen song for this post. This song appeared in the trailer for the second season of The Walking Dead.
Civilian is the fifth song of the same titled album.
