News // The Black Keys: "El Camino" comes out in December
The american duo - Dan Auerbach (vocals/guitar) and Patrick Carney (drums/producer) - announced their new album release for December 2011.
After the successful previous album Brothers, The Black Keys found a different way to share the new-come.
With a humorous video, they announced all the details - title and release date.
El Camino - produced once again with Danger Mouse - is the chosen name for their new album, which is going to release in December 6, including the tracks Lonely Boy and Little Black Submarines.
Dan Auerbach - The Black Keys vocalist and guitarist - talked to Spin website about the new project, revealing: "The new album doesn't sound like Brothers. I've never been into guitar solos. I really like when every instrument in the band is a rhythm instrument. This record has a lot of that going on -- guitar, bass, drums, and keyboards all working together as a rhythm instrument. But unlike Brothers, which has more of these slower songs with an open feeling, [the new LP] is definitely fast."
The video counts with the participation of comedian/actor Bob Odenkirk.
1. Lonely Boy
2. Dead and Gone
3. Gold on the Ceiling
4. Little Black Submarines
5. Money Maker
6. Run Right Back
7. Sister
8. Hell of a Season
9. Stop Stop
10. Nova Baby
11. Mind Eraser
