News // New Amy Winehouse album out in December

A new Amy Winehouse album will be release later this year.

Under the name Amy Winehouse Lioness: Hidden Treasures, the record will be released on December 5.
The record will include unpublished (and some unfinished) songs and has been put together by Mark Ronson and Salaam Remi, producers that have worked with Amy previously.

The record will feature 12 tracks, including some covers from artists like The Shirelles - with Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow - or Ruby & The Romantics - with Our Day Will Come.

The record will also have some alternative versions of Winehouse's released material like a slow version of Tears Dry On Their Own or Valerie. It also includes her duet with Tony Bennett Body & Soul, released earlier this year, on Bennett's Duet II.

Some new songs will also be part of this Amy Winehouse revival. Among them we can have Halftime and The Girl From Ipanema - recorded during her sessions for her debut Frank - and Like Smoke, which is a duet with Nas.
A new song was also revealed, Between The Cheats is thought to be a chronicle about Winehouse's troubled marriage with her ex-husband Blake Fielder-Civil.

Part of the profits will revert to Amy Winehouse Foundation, the charity created by her father in the singer's honor with the objective to help other people with addiction problems.
