Warpaint - Elephants

Warpaint is an American band from LA, formed in 2004. The band's members are Emily Kokal (vocals, guitar), Theresa Wayman (guitar, vocals), Jenny Lee Lindberg (bass, vocals) and Stella Mozgawa (drums).

Two years ago, the BBC announced that Warpaint had been nominated for the BBC's Sound of 2011 poll - they didn't make it to Top5 + info here. When I say the new stating this I felt curious to hear what their sound was about and I was surprised with the quality of their songs.

This song is part of their debut EP called Exquisite Corpse recorded in 2007, self-released in 2008 and released by Manimal Vinyl in 2009.

Two years later after I found out about Warpaint, they will perform on the portuguese festival - Alive - that I already wanted to attend. I guess I'm more convincted than ever to buy the ticket for the 3 days.
