An original by english The Beatles, on Glee sang by Kurt Hummel (Chris Colfer) appearing on the second season and episode 16 "Original Song" while Kurt was still in the boys school and on their choir Dalton Academy Warblers.
The Beatles are a very 60's and 70's english band. Blackbird belongs to the usually called White Album, and the song is a metaphor to the racial conflicts in the USA and the black women suffering to become part of society. The song is kind of a support and the blackbird represents the black women.

ResponderEliminarquando vi esse episodio fiquei super contente por cantarem essa musica, mas ao mesmo tempo fiquei desiludida de certa forma uma vez que esta musica tem uma letra espantosa, e embora não estivesse mal contextualizada.. acho que em termos de contexto na historia podia estar melhor. mas ainda assim, gosto muito :)
