Electronic Arts - #9 Burial

Hello readers,

This week you'll get to know the godfather of post-dubstep. Not that he invented it. But he gave the "base" to it, and Mount Kimbie and James Blake, among others, founded it. Meet Burial.

Burial (born William Bevan) is an electronic musician from London. His music contains elements of dubstep, 2-step garage, ambient and house music. His debut album was released in 2006, receiving many positive feedback. The Wire magazine named it their album of the year, achieved fifth place in the Mixmag 2006 Album of the Year list, and eighteenth in the best of the year list of The Observer Music Monthly supplement. Burial's second album, 'Untrue' , was the second-highest rated album of 2007, according to the review-collating website, Metacritic.

As I said Burial produced two albums 'Burial'(2006) and 'Untrue'(2007) (and everybody is expecting more). He as also four EP (in which he usualy repeat tracks and shows one or two new):
-South London Boroughs EP (2005)
-Distant Lights EP (2006)
-Ghost Hardware EP(2007)
-Street Halo (2011)

So I'll show you some of my favorites.

"Close your eyes/and let the rythm get "

Let yourself flow in the darkness of the night

Just Forgive.........

Simply lovely, just don't know whether it's happy or said

This song will always be there for you. Listen to it and you'll see what I mean.

Keep flying...

If there was an archangel as beatiful as this song, everybody would be religious

Welcome to another dimension

Beautiful

What do you feel?

And leave you with this most recent one....
Hope you liked it. See you next week

Mike Bek
