News // Os Golpes suspend band activity

The Portuguese band Os Golpes made a press release today confirming the suspension of activity.

Os Golpes created in 2008 by Luís, Nuno Moura, Pedro Rosa and Manuel Fúria, released an album Cruz Vermelha Sobre Fundo Branco  in 2009 and a second one the band usually calls "half record" G in 2011.

On their label Amor Fúria website, the band spoke about the news that appeared hours before, that the band was going to end.

The rumor started when people in charged of Musicbox, in Lisbon, announced the cancellation of Os Golpes show, due to the band's end.

The band shared on their press release this is happening due to other projects and ways the members want to explore. They also give the impression that it isn't an official "goodbye" but a "come back soon".
