Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas was originally sing by Judy Garland on the 1944 musical Meet Me in St. Louis, written by Hugh Martin and Ralph Blane.
Several singers covered this song like Ella Fitzgerald or Colbie Caillat. Frank Sinatra was the first artists to record it, in 1948, becoming one of the better known versions and where we can see some changes a few lines of the song.
In 2001, Coldplay recorded this song, to be released on the holiday compilation album, Maybe This Christmas.
"Have yourself a merry little Christmas
Let your heart be light
From now on
Our troubles will be out of sight"
