This morning a press conference was given to give all the ultimate information about the festival that is going to happen in Porto.

Porto is the stage for this Optimus Primavera Sound edition that is going to happen between June 7 to 10.

The new bands announced this morning were Flaming Lips, Rufus Wainwright (on the picture above), Black Lips, The Rapture, Atlas Sound, Lee Ranaldo, Yann Tiersen, Saint Etienne, War on Drugs, Wolves in the Throne Room, Tennis, John Talabot, Erol Alkan, We Trust, Gala Drop, Bigott, Esperit!, Forest Swords, I Break Horses and Mujeres

On the press conference, the organisation revealed that 40% of tickets for Optimus Primavera Sound were sold and most of them outside of Portugal.

They've also revealed that João Paulo Feliciano from Real Combo Lisbonense is going to help to conceive the festival space which will follow some basic standards like "transparency, light or simplicity" and include four stages: Palco Optimus, Palco Primavera, Palco ATP and Palco Club.

The festival is going to happen on Parque da cidade do Porto which can handle a maximum number of 30.000 people per day.
