Mutemath, Prytania

MUTEMATH are an American alternative rock young band from New Orleans.
Created in 2003, this band is now composed by Paul Meany (vocals and keyboards), Darren King (drums), Todd Gummerman (guitars) and Roy Mitchell-Cárdenas (bass guitar) but it's common to see variations of those instruments.

So far, they've released three studio albums: Mutemath in 2006, Armistice in 2009 and Odd Soul in 2011, three EPs: Reset in 2004, Live at the El Rey in 2006 and Spotlight in 2009 and two live albums.

MUTEMATH are also known for their song Spotlight, included on the Twilight's soundtrack.

On their last Odd Soul, after reading several reviews and liste to the record it's clear why they are constantly compared to The Black Keys.
With a very energetic and groovy hot style, Prytania is a song that brings the funk and dance back and represents very well MUTEMATH's personality and talent.
A strong background created by the extraordinairy instruments and this peculiar Meany voice, which is just stunning!

"When you're walking your walk
And talking your talk
The blame is on you for stopping my heart
If I get my way, we'll marry some day
Who cares what they say?"
