Seetees, My Jay

Seetees are this new indie rock band created in 2012.
The band is composed by the singer Teresa Santos - who also participated on the talent show "A Voz de Portugal", the guitarists Luís Fernandes and Rui Rodrigues - both from the Loneers, extincted since 2010, the bass guitarist Daniel Sällberg - who also belongs to The Fall Apart, the drummer Carlos Vasconcelos - who belonged to Mollycodled and the keyboardist Pedro Guilherme.

The band started while Teresa was participating on the TV Show and shortly after her exit from the program their debut album was recorded.

They have a gorgeous indie rock sound resembling a lot bands like Linda Martini. Teresa's voice is really sweet but also very powerful, reminding the voice of Hayley Williams - singer for Paramore.

My Jay, written by Joana Jorge, it's pretty melodic, with a great rhythmic guitars and strong drums. All sounds very good together. The raw sound of each instrument really connects with the spirit of the band, following the band's path of composing songs related with love, fears, friendship and live experiences.

The band's main objective is to get to people's hearts and to connect with them. When asked about their biggest dream as a band, the answer pops-up fast "We want to live from music".

In a near future, they pretend to release at least more two new songs until the end of this year and a new video is being planed to be released during 2013. For now, you can check their participation on Balcony TV on December 1st.
