SOJA, You And Me

My today's choice is the great SOJA!

Once more suggested by one of my best friends Natacha, SOJA is the short name of Soldiers of Jah Army, a reggae band from Virginia in Washington DC .
The band is composed by Jacob Hemphill, Bob "Bobby Lee" Jefferson, Ryan "Bird" Berty, Ken Brownell and Patrick O'Shea.
They are an official band since 1997 but only released an EP in 2000 under the name Soldiers of Jah Army, In 2002, they released their album "Peace In A Time of War", which hits were True Love and Rasta Courage. In 2005, SOJA released an album named "Dub In A Time of War" with songs that didn't appear on the first album.
In 2006, Get Wiser was the name chosen for the second LP album. The album went directly to the Top 10 Sold albums on iTunes.
Three years later, SOJA released an album called "Born In Babylon", which the song I choose is from.
With four albums, 3 EP's and 2 DVD's SOJA are probably one of the most proclaimed reggae bands and with all the right to!!
