The ex-singer of Girls Aloud - a British girlsband - Cheryl Cole released 2 albums after the temporaly end of her band, in 2009.
Fight for this love is from her first album, 3 words - I love you (??). This pop song  was written and produced by an American songwriting team consisting of Steve Kipner, Wayne Wilkins and Andre Merrit.
I don't know if she feels what she is singing - I don't really know her -, but what I like in this song are the lyrics, once again.

So, what is it about?

Fighting for the one you love. Cliché? Not that much.
These days people tend forget what 'love' means, ignore it and don't have the patience to deal with - normal - troubles that every relationship have. I think if it is about fighting for someone that you love and that makes you happy then it worth the try, as long it makes you HAPPY – cuz that’s the most important thing.
And as anything in life, sometimes in relationships you must take 1 step back in order to take 2 steps forward.
