Kaiser Chiefs, Kinda Girl You Are

Kaiser Chiefs are an English band created in 1997, most specifically in Leeds and is composed by Ricky Wilson, Nick Hodgson, Andrew White, Simon Rix and Nick "Peanuts" Baines.

The name comes after a South African football club Kaizer Chiefs - where a football player from their home town.

With 4 released records - Employment (2005), Yours Truly, Angry Mob (2007), Off With Their Heads (2008) and The Future Is Medieval (2011).
The band is known for hits like Everyday I Love You Less And Less, Ruby, I Predict A Riot, Never Miss A Beat and Oh My God.

Future Is Medieval came after the band's long hiatus (since 2008). The band announced that they expected to release a new album in the middle of 2011.
The band decided to create their own label - Chewing Gum Records giving this way more independence to their options and recordings.

On May 30, 2011 Ricky Wilson went to the English radio station BBC Radio 1 to Zane Lowe's show announcing the first single taken from the new record Little Shocks.

On June 3, 2011 Kaiser Chiefs put the record on their website. Instead of the idea of allowing fans to download the pre-made album, the band created a new policy of allowing fans to "create their own albums". So fans were able to choose 10 out of the 20 launched songs and create the album for £7.50. There was also option of buying an already created album, that would give a £1 per creator.

On June 27, the band released a physical version of The Future Is Medieval with 12 tracks of the 20 available online, but also included the band's latest single Kinda Girl You Are, that didn't feature the first tracklist for not being ready on time.

The video of Kinda Girl You Are is becoming to be controversial thanks to Beyoncé, Lady Gaga and Britney Spears lookalikes.

"I first heard you on the radio
And felt my heart explode
No other choice, i heard a voice and fell in love with you
From st. bartholomew's to gloucester avenue
No one can do what you do, oh"
