Linkin Park are an American Rock band, created in 1996.

The band is composed by Chester Bennington, Mike Shinoda, Joe Hahn, Brad Delson, Rob Bourdon and David "Phoenix" Farrell.

Known for songs like In The End, Breaking The Habit, What I've Done or Numb, they've released 5 studio albums - Hybrid Theory (2000), Meteora (2003), Minutes To Midnight (2007), A Thousand Suns (2010) and Living Things, set to be released next June 26, 2012. They've also released two live albums, 18 EPs and 2 remix albums.

Burn It Down is the first single taken from Living Things.
Released in April 16, 2012 the song is promoting their fifth album - available in June.

According to Chester Bennington in an interview for MTV, the song "the really high energy and the really strong electronic melodies and hooks kind of set this song apart, which is why we chose it as our first single."
Mike Shinoda also explained this song's meaning can have several interpretations, giving the example "what we do in pop culture, where we build somebody up to be the next great thing and then we just like to destroy them at the end of the day, and we've lived through that, so I think there's a lot of personal energy that went into the connection of that story."

The song had the titled of Buried At Sea - they've published several videos on their Youtube page talking about it, this is part two.

Burn It Down was written by Mike Shinoda and Rick Rubin and the video was directed by Joe Hahn.

"The colors conflicted
As the flames climbed into the clouds
I wanted to fix this
But couldn't stop from tearing it down"

Note: They played on the second day of Rock In Rio - Lisboa 2012, on May 26. Check their live performance of this song here.
