News // Beautify Junkyards release their debut album + Gig at Musicbox (June 20th)

Beautify Junkyards are going to play at Musicbox on the 20th of June to present their debut album - Beautify Junkyards. The show starts at 10.30pm and the ticket costs 6€.

But who are Beautify Junkyards?
João Branco Kyron (vocals e synthesizers)
JP Daniel (accoustic guitar)
Watts (percurssions)
Sergue (accostuic guitar, omnichord, xylophone and electric bass)
J. Monsant (acoustic guitar and farfisa)
Rita Vian (vocals and farfisa)

This album was recorded live afield using a mobile studio. If there are bands that say what are their influences, Beautify Junkyards decided to do an album with them, resulting in a masterpiece where you can hear versions of  Kraftwerk, Nick Drake, Mutantes, Donovan and others.
The album features some guest like Riz Maslen (Neotropic; Future Sound of London), Wolfgang Schloegl (Sofa Surfers, i-Wolf), Karine Carvalho (3 na Massa) and Erica Buettner.

The album will be released on the 17th of June by Sony Music. In September, a vinyl edition will arrive to the stores.
