themed week // Austrian Death Machine, Jingle Bells

Austrian Death Machine is an American metal band project from San Diego, California created by As I Lay Dying's vocalist Tim Lambesis in tribute to Arnold Schwarzenegger and his movies.

The band released two albums - Total Brutal (2008) and Double Brutal (2009) and two EPs - A Very Brutal Christmas (2008) and Jingle All The Way (2011).

Jingle Bells was originally written in 1850 by James Lord Pierpont. In 1857, was first released under the name One Horse Open Sleigh, but two years later changed for Jingle Bells or One Horse Open Sleigh - turning to a public domain.
The lyrics and melodies changed through years.

This song was also performed by Michael Bublé, Frank Sinatra and Ella Fitzgerald.

This is a very alternative version of the usual sweet and calm Christmas songs. The song appeared on both Austrian Death Machine's Christmas related-EPs.

"Jingle bells, jingle bells,
Jingle all the way.
Oh! what fun it is to ride
In a one-horse open sleigh."
