News // Corey Taylor and Dave Grohl together on documentary

Corey Taylor from Slipknot and Stone Sour (on the picture) and Dave Grohl from Foo Fighters collaborated on a song.

Both musicians worked together on a song - produced by Butch Vig from Garbage - that will probably be part on the documentary Grohl's making about Sound City studios, where Nirvana recorded Nevermind.

Corey Taylor, from Slipknot and Stone Sour, revealed last January via Twitter their collaboration "HUGE checks off the Bucket List today - did a song with Dave Grohl and Butch Vig. Do the words 'holy shit' say enough about it?!?"

Taylor also revealed that Grohl is collaborating with several artists to record songs for this project, saying to Artisan News Service: "he's slowly but surely gotten all these people together to make music on that board again."

On the same interview, Taylor also explained:
"He called me. He was like, 'Would you like to do a tune?' I was like, 'Are you serious? I'm on a plane right now.' And it's really cool, because it's me, Dave and Rick Nielsen (Cheap Trick) on one tune. (...) It's a really good tune."
