Hanni El Khatib, You Rascal You

Hanni El Khatib is a singer-songwriter and musician from Los Angeles, with Palestinian and Filipino descent.
On live performances he is accompanied on the drums by a long-time friend Nicky Fleming-Yaryan.

In 2010 he released two singles Dead Wrong and Build. Destroy. Rebuild. via Innovative Leisure from Stones Throw Records. The debut album was released on Will The Guns Come Out on September 2011 being composed by eight songs and three covers. His genre can be defined somewhere between garage, rock and indie but with a few touches of the 50's and rock and roll.

He has opened shows for the English Florence + The Machine. He has recently performed in Portugal, on the festival Vodafone Mexefest.

Hanni El Khatib sounds something like Lenny Kravitz and Jack White together, specially on this You Rascal You.

Besides the music career, Hanni worked has "a creative director for a skateboard company called HUF. I was working has a graphic designer and art director." he explains on his promo video.
