As many other songs associated with Christmas, and although it's highly associated with this season, it never mentions this holiday being originally thought as a love song.

Last year, we chose Mika's unreleased version - check it here.

This year, the Portuguese band recorded this version to the Christmas compilation Feliz Natal 2012 of Liga dos Pequeninos.
The band explained everything on their facebook page - read here.

"When we finally kiss goodnight
How I'll hate going out in the storm
But if you'll really hold me tight
All the way home I'll be warm"

Known for his joyful and energetic cute pop songs, Mika presents us a new music sang in French - Elle Me Dit, the first of a few from his next album "The Origin of Love".
Like Lebanese singer said on a interview for french media  "(The album is) quite weird. It's a little crazy", and also that the album is quite more serious than the previous ones. His new album is expected to be released somewhere in 2012.
Actually it's no surprise to see other languages besides English on his record, because he speaks fluent French, when he came to Portugal he spoke fluent Portuguese and he also revealed on several interviews he grew up on many different cities making him capable of knowing many languages.

Elle me dit "c'est ta vie
Fais ce que tu veux tant pis
