For me this song NEVER gets old.
One of my favorite songs from this gorgeously good english band Kaiser Chiefs.
They were created in 1997 and their name came up after a big change on the band and they started to write new songs and a new name - the origin comes from the South African football club Kaizer Chiefs where the former Leeds United captain Lucas Radebe had played [note: KC are from Leeds]
The members of this great band are:
- Ricky Wilson, lead vocals and percussion
- Nick Hodgson, drums, backing vocals and co-lead vocals
- Andrew White, guitar
- Simon Rix, bass
- Nick "Peanut" Baines, keyboards and percussion
With three released albums "Employment" (2005), "Yours Truly, Angry Mob" (2007) and "Off With Their Heads" (2008) and one to come this year which there's no information yet.
My favorite one is the second it's more revolutionary and strong, has a huge meaning behind the hole concept. Fame, society and thematics spoken on this album. And thanks to that, my choice will be Ruby the first single to reach the UK musical charts.
Ruby is AMAZING! So good that appeared as bonus track at Guitar Hero III, Singstar and as a song on Lego Rock Band.
This song is damn ironical, damn strong and full of positive vibrations.
And in July I will see them AGAIN, it' so exciting!! They are the band i've seen the most after my KEANE.
Kaiser Chiefs are completely crazy live! They are such pieces of energy, always jumping around, singing, running like maniacs, behaving like themselves, more than natural with their fans. Love them!
"Let it never be said that romance is dead
'Cause there's so little else occupying my head
There is nothing I need, 'cept the function to breathe
But I'm not really fussed doesn't matter to me "
Enjoy! Leave us your thoughts!
Yours truly,
P x
