A four piece band, with Robert Stevenson (singer/writer), Ali Hussain (bassist), Spencer Walker (drummer) and Karl Bareham (guitarist).
The name of this alternative/piano rock band comes from a song written by Stevenson even before the band gets together. He is a very huge fan of old movies - the silent movies - with Chaplin and Keaton. And he wrote this after the movie "The Kid" with Chaplin and his mates loved it and consider it the "vibe" for the band what made all the sense to become the band's identity. After a research on Google, they found out the term "Silent Film" was much more used than expected, so they added the distinguish "A" for "A Silent Film".
The band self-titles themselves like a Rock band, generally miss comparing them to Coldplay, Keane or Snow Patrol although they are really recognized for having similar sounds like Interpol or Radiohead.
Their songs were part of "The Butterfly Tattoo" movie by the successful director Phil Hawkins.
With one EP "The Projectionist" and one album "The City That Never Sleeps" with two editions - 2008 and 2010.
"I deserve a bullet in my chest
If I have no religion and no reason to be scared
If I am going to hell then I just don't care"
Love,
