As you can recall from Mike's post - Radiohead were created 1989 but only in 2000 they changed their sound to an experimental rock genre.
Continuing with this experimental phase, Radiohead released The King Of Limbs on February 18 2011.
Mike said on his post "'The King of Limb' is more than a simple album. It's a much bigger project. ", Radiohead used the same basis " painstaking recording and relatively conventional rock instrumentation" of In Rainbows to make this album adding a spontaneous process and using techniques inspired on DJing.
The title The King Of Limbs might be related with an old Oak tree from Wiltshire's Savernake Forest with approximately 1.000 years.
This album is usually compared with In Rainbows, like the drummer Phil Selway said on September 2010 "the process of making In Rainbows — so much came about through what we were doing live — has been quite the opposite so far." The guitarist Ed O'Brien said earlier that "In Rainbows (...) was an album from the heart. It was a lot warmer. And from what I'm making out in the rehearsal room now, there are still elements of that..."
On September 2011 O'Brien talked about the process revealing "Thom didn’t know how it was gonna be, so we made the songs jamming together [...] Music came first, then the lyrics, and the melody came after". On that same interview, Thom Yorke compared this record process to "editing a film or something".
Related with this album we also have the remixed album TKOL RMX 123467 released on September 16 2011 in Japan and October 2011 on the other territories - with remixes by such different known DJs as you can read on Mike Bek's post - and the DVD The King Of Limbs - Live From The Basement released on December 2011.

This record hasn't any single released but a video for Lotus Flower was published on Youtube on February 16 with the direction of Garth Jennings and choreographed by Wayne McGregor.
"There's an empty space inside my heart
Where the wings take root
Tonight I'll set you free
I'll set you free"
