The Portuguese magazine Blitz that is going to stores next Friday, January 27, includes an interview with David Fonseca who reveals a new album is arriving soon.
About the new songs, Fonseca says on the same interview that "there will be more rock components and more components related with dance music than before... That mixed with my private musical universe."

David Fonseca, one of the most talented Portuguese artists known for his musical and general arts expertise.
With 4 solo albums -Sing Me Something New (2003),Our Hearts Will Beat As One (2005),Dreams In Colour (2007) and Between Waves (2009), not mentioning side projects like Silence 4 or Humanos, make him one of the best actual artists in Portugal.
Last Christmas it's an original by Wham! in 1984. This song is a sad love song besides the obvious themes: Christmas and the traditional gift giving and it's considered to be one of the most characteristic Christmas songs nowadays, with artists like Arctic Monkeys, Coldplay and Florence + The Machine covering it.
This Fonseca's version was released on his Youtube page in 2009, showing himself in several video recordings playing and singing everything from the song we can hear.

David Fonseca is Portuguese musician known for his eclectic instrumental expertise.
He started his career on the very successful band Silence 4, from 1998 to 2002 and a project in 2004 named Humanos with the fadista Camané and members from Clã, with the purpose to share old and unfinished António Variações - a Portuguese writer and singer.
Fonseca is very known for his artistic skills, taking control on the design of his album covers besides being very known for his photography, beginning his professional life has a fashion photographer. He has a degree on Cinema, studying in two prestigious Lisbon universities.
In 2003, David Fonseca released his first album Sing Me Something New, having Someone That Cannot Love for first single.
Two years later came out Our Hearts Will Beat As One, including Hold Still with Rita Redshoes and the first portuguese song from his solo career Adeus, Não Afastes Os Teus Olhos Dos Meus. The album was considered the best 2005 Pop Album in Portugal.
His third album Dreams In Colour was successfully released in 2007, having hits like Superstars, Kiss Me, Oh Kiss Me or the Elton John cover Rocket Man.
Between Waves was released in 2009, with David Fonseca taking care of almost all the instruments on the recording. From this album we can talk about Stop 4 A Minute or A Cry For Love.
