The Wanted - Chasing The Sun

The Wanted are a British/Irish band formed in 2009, until now they have already released 2 albums (The Wanted & Battleground) and 1 EP.

Chasing the Sun is the third single from The Wanted self-titled EP released this year.
The song was co-written by Alex Smith and singer Example, and is one of two theme songs for the 2012 film Ice Age: Continental Drift.

Chasing the Sun is a dance anthem, the chorus' voices are addictive and the lyrics are simple (that's what is asked for this kind of music).

I'm better

So much better now

Look to the skies, gives me life

We're together now

1 per week - Coldplay live @ Rock in Rio, Brasil (2011)

Today I bring to you a video of a very famous band, Colplay.

They recently played for 100.000 people in Brasil, at Rock in Rio and gave an awesome show.

During the show, they did a tribute to Amy Winehouse singing a part of her most successful song, Rehab, after that they sang Fix You.
Curious? Maybe not.
I think it was on purpose because Fix You has such sad lyrics - Amy died this summer - and it makes sense if you think about Amy: When you try your best, but you don't succeed, when you get what you want, but not what you need, when you feel so tired, but you can't sleep.

They are known for being very good performers and this is one of the many proofs you can get.

And high up above or down below
When you're too in love to let it go
But if you never try, you'll never know
Just what you're worth.
Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try, to fix you.
Tears stream down your face,
When you lose something you cannot replace
Tears stream down your face

Coldplay, Fix You

"When you try your best, but you don't succeed,
When you get what you want, but not what you need,
When you feel so tired, but you can't sleep
Stuck in reverse

And the tears come streaming down your face
When you lose something you can't replace
When you love someone, but it goes to waste
Could it be worse?

Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try, to fix you

And high up above or down below
When you're too in love to let it go
But if you never try, you'll never know
Just what you're worth.

Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try, to fix you.

Tears stream down your face,
When you lose something you cannot replace
Tears stream down your face
And I... [2x]

Tears stream down your face
I promise you I will learn from my mistakes
Tears stream down your face
And I...

Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
I will try to fix you."

One of the strongest lyrics, I cried so many times listening to this song. Lately has representing me pretty well, you know they wrote for me (sorry, bad joke!)
