News // Ed Sheeran's new video Drunk

A few days ago we published Ed Sheeran's new single - Drunk.

Last Sunday, the official new video was launched on Sheeran's Youtube account as promised previously on his own Facebook page.

"Drunk is the forth single taken from +, and it's a collaboration between Ed Sheeran andJake Gosling, who also produced the song. The single is going to be released on a Digital format without any predictions of a physical version."

Ed Sheeran, Drunk

Ed Sheeran is considered to be one of 2011 discoveries on the English music scene, and Sheeran career is an incredible story.

He released an album + on September 9 2011, sold over 900.000 copies being incredibly well received by critics and achieving fans around the world with songs like The A Team or Lego House.

Last Saturday, on January 14, he revealed on his Twitter account his next single - Drunk.
On the same tweet, he also added that there would be 2 videos.
The first one is already released on Ed Sheeran's Youtube account and according to himself on Facebook the first one is a video with sneak-peaks of his fans and gigs. About the other video there's just known that he filmed with a cat and it's expected to be released very soon.

Drunk is the forth single taken from +, and it's a collaboration between Ed Sheeran and Jake Gosling, who also produced the song. The single is going to be released on a Digital format without any predictions of a physical version.

Ed Sheeran, Lego House

Ed Sheeran is a extremely young artist from England.
Sheeran started to give his first footsteps in the music world around 2005, when he released his first EP, The Orange Room EP.
Besides this one, he released another 9 EPs - Ed Sheeran (2009), Want Some? (2007), You Need Me (2009), Loose Change (2010), Songs I Wrote With Amy (2010) - written with the singer Amy Wadge, Live At The Bedford (2010), One Take (2011), iTunes Festival: London 2011 (2011), being the last one released in September 2011 under the name The Thank You EP.

In February 2010, Ed Sheeran bought a ticket to Los Angeles with no contacts - only a poetry night. He played on "open mics" all over the city until he was discovered by Jamie Foxx. By the end of that year, his fan-base over the internet started to grow.

In January 2011, he released his EP No.5 Collaborations which was a collaboration with different artists like Devlin and Wiley, becoming the 2nd in the iTunes chart without any promotion or label, selling over 7.000 copies on the first week.

In April he went to the TV Show Later... with Jolls Holland - performing The A Team. Six months later, that same song was released as a digital download in the UK, being also used as debut single from his first album +, released under the label Atlantic Records, in September 2011.

The A Team reached the #3, selling over 58.000 copies on the first week and he was "(...) congratulated on being the highest-selling and highest-charting debut single of 2011."

+ was released on 9 September 2011, reaching the first week more than 102.000 copies. Media interest on this album came specially from The A Team and You Need Me, I Don't Need You - reaching respectively the number 3 and 4 on the UK Single Chart.

Lego House debut on Zane Lowe's BBC Radio 1 show and is officially released as a single on November 13.

The official video for Lego House was released on Youtube on October 20, featuring the extremely similar British actor Rupert Grint, known for his role as Ron Weasley on Harry Potter series.
The story of this video is about an obsessive fan, played by Rupert Grint. That fan is suffering a mental breakdown, ending with Sheeran and Grint meeting when Grint was forcibly removed from the music venue, where Sheeran was going to play.
