News // Three More Confirmations on Super Bock Super Rock

Three confirmations and three different nationalities - The North-American The Rapture, the English Bloc Party and the Portuguese Capitão Fausto are the newest names on the 18th edition of Super Bock Super Rock, happening between July 5 to 7.

On the first day, July 5, Bloc Party - who recently return to stages and Capitão Fausto - are presenting their first album Gazela released in the end of 2011.

On July 6, The Rapture are performing their album In The Grace Of Your Love released in 2011.

A daily ticket is able for purchase for 45€ and a three-day pass for 80€.
The festival has confirmed bands/artists like Lana Del Rey, The Horrors, Incubus and Regina Spektor.

News // Regina Spektor and Bat For Lashes on Super Bock Super Rock

More names have been added to the Portuguese Super Bock Super Rock 2012 edition.

Bat For Lashes, Alabama Shakes and Regina Spektor (on the picture above) are the most recent confirmations on the festival that is going to happen in Meco, near Sesimbra.

A daily ticket is 45€ and a three-day pass (including camping, starting on July 4) is 80€. The tickets are already available for purchase.

The confirmations for the Portuguese festivals are:

News // First details about Super Bock Super Rock

The Portuguese festival Super Bock Super Rock is going to happen between July 5 to 7.

Besides the dates, the organization revealed five names that are already going to perform on SBSR: Pete Doherty, the American Battles, the British The Horrors, Apparat (project from the German musician Sascha Ring) and Little Dragon.

On the first day, July 5, Battles, Apparat and Pete Doherty are going to perform, on the next day The Horrors and on the last one Little Dragon.

The daily ticket will cost 45€ and the three-day pass will be 80€.

Remember that last year the festival had bands like Arcade Fire, Arctic Monkeys and Portishead but the organisation was very criticized for the location and all the problems that came from that - such as the lack of conditions on the camping or traffic.

But Luíz Montez guaranteed last year that all the efforts would be done to make everything suitable and proving once again that Herdade do Cabeço da Flauta - Meco, Sesimbra was THE location for Super Bock Super Rock, known for the alternative names on the Festival poster.

News // Two Door Cinema Club remix Lady Gaga

The band Two Door Cinema Club contributed to Lady Gaga's new remix album Born This Way: The Remix by mixing her song Electric Chapel.
On this album other bands like The Horrors, Foster The People, Hurts or Goldfrapp contributed with their remixes, many being already available online.
